Part Two: Session One, Keeneland September Yearling Sale

The first session of the esteemed Keeneland September Yearling Sale is complete! With 5 seven-figure horses, session one certainly proved why it is the select portion of the sale. The average, $403,867, also proved how high-quality this auction is. Of my top 25 selections, 13 sold (6 did not reach their reserves and 6 were declared out of the sale). Those top selections brought a total of $7,450,000, averaging $573,077. Of my 10 extras, 6 sold while 4 did not attain their reserves. These extras brought a total of $2,375,000, averaging $395,833.
